Bálint Kolosváry (Cluj-Napoca, 25 January 1875 - Budapest, August 28, 1954), specialist in private law and university professor died 60 years ago. The Sapientia University - Department of Law declared 2014 a Bálint Kolosváry memorial year. The Department of Law will publish a book (selected studies in private law) to honor the memory of Bálint Kolosváry and will organize a conference in 21th of November 2014.

Former Hungarian President Ferenc Mádl dies

Ferenc  Mádl, who served as Hungarian president between 2000 and 2005, died at the age of 80. He was a lawyer, university professor, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He was also a supporter of the Sapientia University, being present several times at the festive events of the University.
